I was nearly fucked up by this site: babeslog.net. If you do a site search, the Queue has entries like this:

If you go to that page in a browser you’ll find that it’s not a picture at all, it’s a page with a picture on it, but it’s fooled Porn Muncher into putting it into the Queued Pictures list (cos it ends with .jpg).

However, it didn’t fool me! The picture on that page has this address:

http://babeslog.net/galleries/may/pics/arika-03.jpg

Which means that if you take out the ‘viewpic.php?foto=‘ part (underlined in the top example) you can get the picture. Fairly straightforward, so here’s a step-by-step guide to Munching the whole site. You’ll need a text editor of some kind which can do search/replace (use Word or Wordpad if you need to).

Start up Porn Muncher or Picture Muncher and first of all go to the Queue screen. Uncheck the Munch Pictures First option, so that all the pages are downloaded first and we’ll get a full list of pictures before any attempt is made to grab an actual picture.

Now go to the Search screen. Type the following line:

site:babeslog.net

Click the Munch button and select Munch - Text Only, and go to the Queue screen to watch what happens.

As soon as all the pages have been Munched (they’ll all change colour or, if you’ve checked Remove Munched will disappear), hit the Cancel button. None of the pictures will download anyway, so there’s no point going further.

You will now have a list of (at this point useless) page addresses, which we need to edit a little. Right-click on the list and select Save List, choose a filename for it and save the list as a file.

Now go to your text edit and, using its replace function, replace all occurences of ‘viewpic.php?foto=‘ with nothing (an empty string). You’ll now have a list of pictures which WILL be Munched!

In Porn Muncher, go to Munch Control. Either create a new folder or use the List Maker folder, click the List button and select Open List. Select the list you just edited, and there you go, the list of porn pictures is now ready to be downloaded. All you need to do is hit the Munch button and select Munch Pages (Whole List) and you’ll get the lot!

I got over 5000 porn pictures with this method, which would otherwise have gone to waste. Although this seems a difficult way to get porn, the more you use Porn Muncher the more you’ll see it’s a great tool for dealing even with the most ‘difficult’ of porn sites, and there are some fucking good pictures on that site so it would be a shame to miss them!
